Each year, all members of the Armed Services
(US Army, US Air Force, US Navy, US Marines and
the Coast Guard) hold a Military Ball
(formal Dining Out). These events can be held for
different reasons such as a Welcome Back Ball,
the celebration of the Service's Birthday, or for a
significant event. San Diego's Favorite DJ can support
any and all ball room events from 50 to 1500 attendees.
Here are a few examples of significant events that
are common to most military balls.
Most balls begin with a cocktail hour.
San Diego's Favorite DJ can provide background music
during this informal "meet and greet" portion of the event.
Posting of the Colors
I have all of traditional military music used for the posting
of the colors, the National Anthem and all of the Armed Forces Anthems.
I am a retired member of the US Navy. I am VERY comfortable
working with military personnel and have the utmost respect
for military traditions.
This is a very solemn ceremony conducted to honor those
service men and women who remain missing in action or as
prisoners of war. San Diego's Favorite DJ can provide
the proper background music during this ceremony.
During the Dinner hour, I provide relaxing music while you dine.
I currently have over 30,000 song titles in my computer library.
New songs are added monthly so I always have the latest hits.
My music library spans over 8 decades. If your guests request it,
I probably have it.
For each ball a distinguished guest is asked to deliver an address to
the assembly of military personnel. This person usually has some
connection with the armed forces. San Diego's Favorite DJ also provides
wireless microphones for your guest speakers.
Following dinner, the colors are retired and the dancing begins.
Time to hit the dance floor! San Diego's Favorite DJ will provide
you the widest range of music and a great light show to ensure
everyone has a great time. I gladly take requests and do my best to
play songs that everybody will enjoy.
